THE BEST AT THE LOWEST PRICE SOUTH & NORTH INDIAN CUISINE

Under the superb direction of Santha and the management of her husband Chiral Puruthotham this traditional South Indian vegetarian & non-vegetarian restaurant with many North Indian dishes is just minutes from Scarborough Town Centre

The Menu at Madras Palace is prepared with a variety of authentic Indian and Sri-Lankan favorite from appetizers, Indian breads, and Indian rice, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. In SANTHA's words, 'Madras Palace invites you to experience the essence of the Legendary Heritage'.

For appetizer, MADRAS PALACE offers a selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes including Methu Vadiai, Masala Vadai, Samosa, Dahi Vadai, Beef Cutlet, Fish Cutlet, Muttton Rolls. If you prefer to start your meal with a soup, the RASAM is full of taste and definitely one of the best soups you will ever have. For main entrée, the Biriyani Rice is a must. Prepared with exotic Bastmati rice cooked to perfection with spices, butter, ginger, almond, raisins, cashews and coriander. This dish is served with your choise of chicken, button, beef or vegetable.

The restaurant is licensed and offers a large selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages including Imported beer from Indian King Fisher. There are many surprises at this cozy and well decorated place and the Indian music will transfer you to a different world. Under the supervision of SANTHA and CHIRAL you will find the service impeccable and efficient.

And one more thing, Do not forget to ask for SANTHA's PICKLES before leaving. It is SANTHA's home made Mango, Lemon, Fish and Shrimp pickle and is YAMI YAMI good. We shall publish an interview with SANTHA very soon.
